Modern mythology interprets spiritual parasites as an advanced space-traveling extraterrestrial civilization.
The nonhuman spiritual parasites that feed on us don’t care if you are an advocate of freedom like Clint Eastwood or a Communist like Xi Jinping. They steal their spiritual food from our spirits when we stir up the works of the flesh.
Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

The spiritual parasites struggling against us humans can better be characterized as giant intelligent flying chiggers. They suck our spiritual energy in the same way that chiggers suck blood, and burrow into our spirits like chiggers burrow into our flesh if we don’t remove them immediately. These are the devils that Jesus cast out of people in whom they had taken up residence. They are also the gods experienced by ancient cultures that required human sacrifice, and currently interpreted as space traveling advanced ET civilizations.
Mark 1:34 And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.
I notice that the speaker in the link to Odenton Baptist uses the King James. Not nearly enough, however.
I also notice that he does not take the parasites seriously. He does not realize they are intelligent beings, and treats them as just influences. He seems to think they are only things like leisure and liberty that can be overcome by using our will, and we do not need Jesus to overcome intelligent beings that are parasitic on us.
