What is the Gospel?

Some have never understood the Gospel. Here it is as presented in the Bible. If you dismiss the Bible, you can have no concept of truth, and nothing at all can be true. Then there are no answers to life. Only God, who is Truth Itself, can provide answers. All other gods require you to reach them; only the God of the Bible comes to man and makes him just.

1—God is Truth Itself. (John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.)

2—Truth has infinite standards, and no human can meet them. ( Psalm 53:3 Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.)

3—God loves people,
( 1 John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him),

4—and chooses some for whom He takes His own punishment in the person of Christ (1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness )

5—for their inability to meet the infinite standards He requires, (Romans 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?)

6—and thereby makes them able to be in His presence.
(Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.)

7—You can be chosen if you believe.
(John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.)
