Are plasmas alive?

NASA tries to make people think there is or was life on Mars by redefining life as organic molecules. One no doubt can find life on Mars using redefinition, but plasmas like this electrified dust devil may actually be life, in a form that we do not recognize. This brings up thorny questions in astrobiology: Who has the authority to define life? Is life necessarily biological? Obviously no living man can answer these questions in a final way. Now what? We have to turn to mind-boggling ideas. There has to be a God to define life and enforce that definition on everyone. That God would be alive, although recognizing Him would require a redefinition of life that would exclude mechanistic, materialist science. But some deny the concept of God itself. Now what? Will they become irrelevant to reality, and be cut off from life itself, with the destiny of eternal death?
